Tim Klob is the managing attorney of Klob Legal, LLC and serves as of-counsel Larrison Law Firm. Tim is a Martindale-Hubbell®️ AV Preeminent-Rated attorney, practicing in the areas of workers’ compensation and civil litigation, and he is admitted to practice law in both Georgia and Tennessee.

Tim graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and obtained his J.D. from the Georgia State University College of Law. While in law school, he worked full-time as a civil engineer for the Georgia Department of Transportation and managed transportation planning studies for proposed transportation projects statewide. During his time with GDOT, Tim also obtained his license as a registered Georgia Professional Engineer. In addition to his transportation planning duties, Tim implemented and managed the Department’s transportation enhancement program which provided over $93 million in federal-aid highway funding for projects statewide, including construction of the entrance and access road to the National Prisoner of War Museum in Andersonville.

Prior to launching his own practice, Tim was a partner with an AV-rated regional insurance defense firm in the Atlanta area where he focused on insurance defense for employers and insurers in both Georgia and Tennessee. He has also previously served as a part-time magistrate court judge in Gwinnett County as well as president of the Walton County Bar Association, and he is currently registered as a civil litigation mediator through the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution. Tim’s experience in representing both employers and insurers, as well as injured workers, provides him with a unique perspective of understanding all issues in complex workers’ compensation claims.

Tim is a retired Army Reserve lieutenant colonel with over 25 years of military service. His duty assignments include serving as principal legal advisor to commanders at both the battalion and brigade levels, serving as deputy commander for a regional JAG legal assistance detachment, teaching military history and military law courses for ROTC cadets at Kennesaw State University and Georgia Tech, and representing wounded warriors as in disability appeals at Fort Hood, Texas. He is also certified to represent veterans before the Department of Veterans Affairs as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, and he is an active member of the American Legion as well as other veterans’ support organizations.
